General Information
As of October 2009, Dome Valley Park is in the following state:
• MX Track has been groomed and looks great
• Enduro trail is marked out and times of achievement set: under 18 minutes = Gold, 19-25 minutes = Silver & 25- 30 minutes = Bronze. Over 30 minutes and you are a trail rider, this track will identify your status, so man-up and come and give it a go…
• The toilet tank is in place and hope to have the fittings connected in Oct 25
• Gates to the road are being built, hope to have them installed Oct 25
• Build start –straight next to car park. Soil should begin arriving in November for this new addition to the MX track.
• Move the container to higher ground. When the soil arrives, we will get a bull dozer to move the container.
• New kids loop in the trees, need some motivated parents to get chainsaws swinging this summer…
• Map of Enduro loop to be drafted up with photos of obstacles
• Video (helmet cam) of Enduro loop to be put on utube..this summer sometime
We plan to open the park on Sunday the 25th of October (Labour Weekend)
So to get the benefits of the park, we have decided to open it on Sundays from 9am to 3.30pm. Still $25.00 to ride and no license required.
